Professional security requires accountability

This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, and the limits of what we are — stated precisely, so that a client or a regulator can hold us to them.

Key statements

Statement 01

Former military, security or government experience does not confer current government authority, law-enforcement powers or intelligence-service status.

Statement 02

All services remain subject to applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdiction where they are provided.

Statement 03

Russian Spetsnaz, as represented by this website, is an independent organisation. Nothing on this site establishes an affiliation with the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence, the FSB, the GRU, or any other government or intelligence organisation.

01 Clauses

Twelve commitments. Each is a condition of engagement, not an aspiration.

Standards of engagement

  1. 1.0

    Licensing

Where the provision of security services requires a licence, permit or registration, we ensure that the entity or individual delivering the service holds the appropriate current authorisation for that category of work in that jurisdiction. Where we cannot satisfy the licensing requirement directly, we either engage a licensed local provider under a documented arrangement or decline the assignment. We do not deliver licensable services unlicensed.

  2. 2.0

    Background screening

Personnel are screened before engagement to a standard proportionate to the role, covering identity, right to work, relevant history and verification of claimed credentials. Screening is carried out lawfully, with the individual’s informed consent, and in compliance with applicable data-protection and employment law. Adverse findings are assessed on relevance to the role rather than applied mechanically.

  3. 3.0

    Professional qualifications

Claimed qualifications, training and licences are verified with the issuing body wherever verification is possible. Unverified claims are recorded as unverified and are not represented to clients as established fact. We publish no certifications, accreditations or memberships that we do not hold, and this website does not assert any that have not been independently established.

  4. 4.0

    Insurance

Engagements are covered by insurance appropriate to the service, the territory and the assessed risk. The insurance position is confirmed before an assignment begins and is stated in the engagement documentation, including any territorial or activity exclusions that affect the client. We do not proceed with work that our cover does not extend to.

  5. 5.0

    Legal compliance

All services are delivered within the law of the jurisdiction in which they are provided, including law governing security provision, use of force, self-defence, detention, surveillance, privacy, employment, immigration and data protection. Where an instruction would require unlawful conduct, it is refused. This applies regardless of the seniority of the person giving it or the value of the engagement.

  6. 6.0

    Contractual obligations

Every engagement is governed by a written agreement stating scope, deliverables, personnel, governing law, liability, insurance, confidentiality, duration and termination. Work outside the agreed scope is agreed in writing before it is performed. Clients are told what is not included as clearly as what is.

  7. 7.0

    Confidentiality

Client information is handled on a strict need-to-know basis and is not disclosed to third parties except where required by law or expressly authorised by the client. We do not publish or otherwise use client identities, locations, itineraries or protective arrangements for promotional purposes, during an engagement or after it ends.

  8. 8.0

    Privacy and data

Personal data is collected only where there is a lawful basis and a genuine need, retained only for as long as that need persists, and protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures. Enquiry information submitted through this website is used solely to respond to the enquiry. We do not sell personal data or transfer it to third parties for marketing.

  9. 9.0

    Human rights

We conduct our work with respect for human rights, including the rights of people who are not our clients. We will not undertake work intended to intimidate, harass, suppress lawful activity, or unlawfully restrict any person’s liberty or privacy. Force, where lawful at all, is a last resort and must be necessary, reasonable and proportionate.

  10. 10.0

    Anti-corruption

We prohibit bribery and facilitation payments in any jurisdiction, including payments to officials to obtain permits, access or preferential treatment. Personnel are required to report any solicitation. Where local practice makes lawful delivery impossible, the correct response is to decline the assignment rather than to accommodate the practice.

  11. 11.0

    Professional conduct

Personnel are required to act with integrity, courtesy and restraint toward clients, colleagues, the public, local staff and authorities. Conduct standards cover appearance, language, punctuality, substance use, social-media activity and the handling of information. Breaches are investigated and result in removal from an assignment where appropriate.

  12. 12.0

    Local regulations

Beyond security licensing, engagements comply with sector, venue, transport, aviation, reporting and tax obligations that apply locally. Requirements are established during scoping, recorded in the engagement documentation, and reviewed if the assignment changes in duration, location or nature.

The limits of what we are

Stated directly, because ambiguity on these points would be misleading and because clients are entitled to know exactly what they are engaging.

Limit 01

No government status

We are a private organisation. We hold no official status with the Russian Federation or any other state, and we do not act with, for, or under the authority of any government body.

Limit 02

No law-enforcement powers

Our personnel hold no powers of arrest, search, seizure or detention beyond those available to any private citizen under the law of the jurisdiction concerned.

Limit 03

No intelligence authority

We hold no intelligence-service status and claim no classified capability, access or clearance. We do not offer intelligence services presented as state capability.

Limit 04

No diplomatic standing

We hold no diplomatic status, immunity or privileges. Our personnel travel and work as private individuals under ordinary immigration and employment law.

Limit 05

No official recruitment authority

We do not recruit for any armed force, security service or government agency, and we are not authorised to represent any such body or its selection processes.

Limit 06

No guarantees of safety

No security provider can guarantee safety. We commit to competence, diligence, lawful conduct and honest assessment — not to outcomes that no organisation can promise.

Raising a concern

If you believe any person representing this organisation has acted outside these standards, or has misrepresented their authority, contact us directly at im@digantsharma.com or +91 97699 99960. Concerns are investigated and the outcome is communicated to the person who raised them. Nothing in our confidentiality obligations prevents the reporting of unlawful conduct to the proper authorities.

02 Next Step

Ask us to evidence any of this before you engage us

Licensing, insurance and screening positions are confirmed in writing during scoping. A provider unwilling to do that is telling you something.
